Frequently asked questions

Which PADI course should I start with?
If you have never dived, the PADI Open Water Diver course is the starting point. It takes about 3 days and certifies you to dive to 18 m anywhere in the world. If you just want to try diving first, book a Discover Scuba Diving experience.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
No. Only basic swimming skills are required. If you are not yet comfortable with the swimming exercises, our instructors will help you build them at no extra cost.
Are the PADI certifications valid for life?
Yes. PADI certifications do not expire and are recognised at dive centres worldwide. If you have taken a long break, our ReActivate refresher gets you comfortable again.
What is included in the course price?
All scuba equipment, PADI instructor guidance, e-learning or classroom theory, your certification, tea, coffee and snacks. Premium packages also include a Sri Lankan rice and curry lunch, and some packages include two nights in a private double room.
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes, groups save up to 10%. Contact us with your group size and dates.
Where do the courses take place?
Our main base is on Unawatuna Beach on the south coast of Sri Lanka, with a second location in Trincomalee on the east coast. Both are PADI-standard training sites.
