What do I need before taking Advanced Open Water?
You need to be PADI Open Water certified (or hold an equivalent entry-level certification from another agency).
How many dives are in the Advanced Open Water course?
Five adventure dives over 2 to 3 days. Deep (to 30 m) and Underwater Navigation are required. In Unawatuna a night dive is included as standard and you choose two more electives.
Is there classroom study?
No lengthy classroom sessions. You do a short knowledge review before each dive, then put it into practice underwater.

How deep will I be able to dive afterwards?

Is accommodation available?
Yes. A private double room is $20 per night. The Dive & Stay Open Water package includes two nights for $400, or $760 for two people sharing a room.
