Terms & Conditions – Cancellation & Payment Policy
1. Standard Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel their booking free of charge within 7 days of the booking date, provided the cancellation request is made in writing (email, WhatsApp, or other confirmed communication).
Customers may also reschedule their booking free of charge up to 1 day prior to the scheduled activity, subject to availability.
2. Cancellation Due to Unavoidable Circumstances
Diving activities may occasionally need to be cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Adverse weather or sea conditions
- Safety concerns
- Equipment issues
- Instructor unavailability
- Government restrictions or local regulations
- Any situation where the dive or activity cannot be conducted safely
- Operational limitations or unforeseen inability of the dive center
In such cases, we will offer:
- Rescheduling to a mutually convenient date, or
- A refund where applicable (excluding non-refundable items mentioned below)
3. Non-Refundable Educational Materials & Deposits
Any advance payments or deposits made for educational materials, including digital learning materials, manuals, certification processing fees, or other training-related items purchased from PADI, are strictly non-refundable.
These materials are purchased directly from PADI at the time of registration; therefore, these payments cannot be refunded regardless of the reason for cancellation.
However:
- The purchased learning materials do not expire
- Customers may use these materials at any time in the future
- Materials can be used to complete the course with our dive center or any other authorized PADI dive center
4. Rescheduling
Customers may reschedule dives or courses free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability.
Requests made less than 24 hours prior to the activity may be subject to charges.
5. Activities Commenced (In-Water Policy)
Once a participant has entered the water, the activity will be considered as commenced. Full payment will be charged, regardless of whether the dive or activity is fully completed or only partially completed.
Exceptions apply only in situations where the activity cannot be completed due to reasons directly related to the dive center, including:
- Equipment malfunction or failure
- Safety concerns identified by the instructor
- Operational inability of the dive center
- Any other issue caused by the dive center that prevents safe continuation of the activity
In such cases, the dive center may offer:
- Rescheduling of the activity, or
- Partial or full refund at the discretion of the dive center
6. Training Courses (Including PADI Courses)
For training programs such as PADI courses or other instructional programs, if the full training cannot be completed due to an issue related to the participant (including but not limited to medical reasons, personal reasons, scheduling conflicts, skill performance requirements, or failure to meet course standards), a refund may or may not be possible depending on how much of the training has already been completed.
Refund amounts, if applicable, will be determined at the discretion of the dive center based on:
- Portion of the course already completed
- Instructor time already provided
- Materials already issued
- Costs already paid to PADI or other training agencies
Where possible, customers may continue or complete the remaining training at a later date.
